A New Friend

This is Lê Chen, also an adopted Chinese. She is from England and she and her mother, Carolyn, recently moved to Xian. Carolyn is teaching English and they plan to live here for two years. They came by to visit and volunteer today. They are very into china and also lived here when LeChan (she goes by her Chinese name) was six. We had such a great time and they spent the majority of the day here. They are super adventurous and have taken the train from Beijing to London. It takes 10 days. They have done it five times. Amazing and living a totally different life than Lily and I.
