The Gold Shovel
Today our stake broke ground for the new building scheduled to be completed next fall. It has been rainy and cold all week but this morning we were blessed with beautiful fall weather. There wasn't even a chill in the air when we began at 9:00 am.
They asked 11 people from our stake plus the mayor to do the initial dig with a gold shovel. I got to be one of them and it was pretty exciting to be a part of history in my little world of church life.

It's right across the street from Mullan Road School, right by the Hendrickson's house.
